    Last SOHC and first DOHC. Compare them, please, and quantify the differences. Riding, not mechanical.

    That's what we were doing. :) And it's always fun to ride older bikes. Power difference is pretty noticeable. The dohc does turn more rpm's at the same speed, so that helps with the power feeling. The sohc is a lot buzzier through the handlebars. Brakes feel just about the same - the front is the same though. They both handle pretty good. They are more similar in handling compared to an 81 K model. The K doesn't handle nearly as good as either F models. The dohc seems to ride better though. That may be due to the comfort of the seat and the less buzz in the handlebars. We will ride both of them more this summer for other comparisons. This was the first ride with both of them since going through them this last winter.
