1976 GL1000 with Vetter Terraplane. I'll fly into Minneapolis this Saturday and ride her back to IL. This rig just screams the 70's.

You say Evil Knievel and somebody else has related it to Elvis. This will be my 3rd rig and even though it has been a while I did get out last Winter on my brother's rig and it all came rolling back into my brain. Still I'm planning on taking my time getting back and if I have to stop overnight I will. 4 days and a wake-up!

I bought that exact Wing and sidecar in San Diego and rode it back to Salida, Co in '99 in mid November. What a trip! I kept it for a few years and then sold it to a retired teacher in Denver. Saw it for sale on Craigslist less than a year later. Hope you're enjoying it as much as I and my dog did.
