If you look closely at the mirror sunglasses you will see the PMC..think I got the right name,Portsmouth Motorcycle Club house and then when you look down the street you see it in person:) Really cool to see.

Thank you. We are looking for the highest and lowest.

Your 63-111041 is about 70,000 Windjammers lower that the highest known, which is 63-180,823

Your 36-247330 is 36-250,013 is about 3,000 lower.

Sometimes, the original warrantee slip and/or/ sales receipt shows up in the pockets. That information is helping me compile accurate dates of sale.

Keep sending this stuff. I am assembling a pretty good picture.

Thanks

Craig

Darn, thought I was going to be a winner. Looked at the list and saw the highest trunk was 240013, and mine is 243759.

But it looks like Roncar has me beat. :(

Craig,

Here's another number for your collection. This is from a 6-pin Windjammer, so I guess that would be the original model before Windjammer II. My S/N is 9873, so it is 712 units higher than what you have currently got listed. This was on a 1974 BMW R90/6 that I pulled from a barn earlier this year.

And another shot that's a bit tighter on the S/N:

I hope this is the highest number. I don't need any sort of prize, but it would be nice to have you reply and tell me that this is an extremely valuable and sought-after fairing. That way I can print it out and wave it under the nose of my buddy who sold me the old Beemer. I love to irritate him, so lay it on thick.

I used to pick up and deliver lift trucks (some call them fork lifts) at Bell Motorsports -- the helmet folks -- over in Rantoul. They were adjacent to the airfield on the old USAF base. I used to drive across part of the airstrip to get to their docks. Is that the same warehouse that you once used?

Just bought this SS with horns. Looks like the highest SS serial number so far. Also looks like it had a cycle sound at one time.

Welcome to the forum Bladequarter! Could you post another more readable image of your serial plate? Craig requests an clear image of the plate so he can log them in his archives.

Hello, I just signed up! I have 2 1977 Honda goldwings I am fixing up. I purchased them from previous owners with the fairings in-place. I believe one is a Windjammer III because the SN is an 09-129754 (1and 2 am not positive about), and the other I cannot tell if it is Windjammer III or II. SN is 42100. I will upload pics for both. Any feedback regarding these fairings would be very welcomed. Thanks
By the way, both my goldwings are 1977, GL1000s, with Windjammer Fairings (1-red, 1-blue), both just over 80000 miles , and both just sprung a coolant leak in the left upper corner of the radiator with-in a week of each other. Just like kids. I think I might call them Red, and Ol Blue.

Welcome to the forum GoldWinger! Nice rides! I have an 1100 and a 1200, and when I get a 1000, it will be a 77. I just like those bikes more than the other 1000's.

As far as the 42100 fairing, that should be a WJ II:
Windjammer 2 - lowest known Ser: #13,648, highest known: #43,986 Silver & black serial plates

. . . Craig checks frequently to log the serials. Thank you for posting them.
I posted pictures last October of a 6-pin Windjammer Fairing with S/N 9873 (712 units higher than what you have currently got listed as being the highest reported), but never got a reply to the post. Is anybody actually watching this forum?
