I think all of my H4 units say so on the lens. Two are right in the center and one is at the bottom center. A lot of sealed beams will also say on the lens.
It was an option to have the H4 assembly instead of the sealed beam. I purchased a higher output bulb for mine a long time ago. I think the normal one is 55/60 watts and the one I purchased was 100 watts on high. I think the low beam was 80 watts but I don't remember.
I also noticed on a set of mine that it lost one of the rubber bumpers giving it a lot of play. I had another set of bumpers off of some other bags I had. Not sure if Craig sells them or not.
Yeah I knew it was only on the WJ5. I thought maybe they might know. I would think that it would be available somewhere as trim for something. But hard to say. That gold really does look good. We'll keep our eyes open for it.
What an amazing find! Wish I could find my dad's first wing! Welcome to the forum. I wonder if Craig might have an idea of where to obtain the gold edging.
Top of Beartooth Pass. 10,947 ft. Probably a little over 11,000 at this lookout.
Chief Joseph highway. Got to love it on a bike!
Gotta have one with all Vetter in it....and the snow.
Seems like a lot of money but what a good find! They don't come along very often anymore. I agree that you don't want it to end up in the hands of someone that will throw it away while they are hacking up the bike. Welcome to the forum! Some of your questions we may have to ask Craig to help...
Who are you going to have do the stickers? One of my clients owns a sign company and he does a lot of vintage stuff on magnets. I could find out if he is interested.
Hmmm. How right Larry is. I obviously had not thought about other Vetter fairings. I just looked at Larry's profile pic and that is a very good question on how big they can be on other Vetter fairings without causing a visibility issue. We should have 2 sizes!!
Stickers!!!! :) ( I couldn't find a foaming at the mouth smiley!) I don't have a size preference, but I don't think 3.5 inches is too big. (Sorry Larry!) I was thinking about the bottom center of the windshield as a location. Cycle sound covers a lot more than that.
