Haha. Kind of embarrassing really as I work as an Aircraft Mechanic. I never had a battery terminal come loose before now. Also no other obvious clues as to the battery, bike started fine ran fine headlight turnsignals all worked.

Also even at idle I have positive voltage 12.9 or better at highway speed I can't believe my system with the current upgrades couldn't...

Ok I know we don't all ride the same bike or even the same brand but I am wondering if anyone else has seen this. First the bike is a 1982 Suzuki GS850G. It has a new (made by me) wiring harness, i replaced every wire and the main wirinig side connectors. This means any device switch or what...

You should see it at night when the old girl is tucked in. The tent wasnt cheap and it's a little large packed but it is so nice to be able to stand up inside to change clothes. Also with the bike inside the tent I use its battery to charge my phone at night.

Made it to Oshkosh, I even took to "short" route around the lake.ok so it added 300 miles or so vut I didn'thave to go through Chicago. From Ohio up through Michigan and around via the U.P. very nice ride. Here's my camp site for the next few days.

I would love another gear on my GS850G, but she seems quite happy cruising at 75 80. I am even taking her (at least thats the plan) on an 1800 mile adventure Monday. The 850 has a little vibration at speeds but a throttle lock (poor boy's cruise) and its very easy to deal with.

Thanks Brian, I bought a "no mech" unit.... guess I am old didn't know such a thing existed until I saw it here. It is really too much for a bike but I like toys. It has bo mechanism so its about half the size of a normal head unit. Just finished it today now whrn I get my replacement fairing...

Thank you Scott and Larry. I did forget about the bikes parking light position on the ignition switch. That would definitely be the easiest. On my GS it only operates the tail light since the rear trunsignals are 2 wire only and I dont have the front connected. The tail light is an LED too so...

It's not ready yet but I have had too many comments on needing this I had to do it. More to follow shortly.

Not to take from Dave's post but I have not had any issues with the ball hitch and lean angles. Although I will say I am more careful when pulling my two wheeled trailer.

A couple of queations. The simple one first. The two mounting brackets that go from the speaker to the top clamp bolts of the windscreen, are all that hold the cycle sound inplace? I looked at the manual and thats all I saw....seems like it would move around and vibrate. Next as I am a gadget...
